The T1612 project is the engine assembly line of the EQ01/02 project commissioned by Hawtai Motor OED Power co., LTD., The project is a turnkey project, which takes into account the flexible design of co-production of gasoline engines of other models and reserved corresponding positions. The scope of supply includes all the equipment, line body, jig, auxiliary tools, inspection tools, station equipment, material rack, lighting facilities and data management system required by the assembly line. Our company completed the project from solution formulation to design and manufacturing to assembling and debugging within one year, and completed the final acceptance of the project on September 25, 2017.

The successful completion of this project has achieved a breakthrough in our engine production line from scratch. On September 20, 2017, the first 1.5t small-displacement supercharged gasoline engine developed independently by OED was successfully launched at the Hawtai Erdos base. This OED4G15T gasoline engine is another core power product independently developed by Hawtai and it features high speed torque, good acceleration, good fuel economy, low vibration, low noise and low emission. The official completion of the 1.5t gasoline engine of OED strongly supports Hawtai automobile industry to complete the full coverage of core components such as gasoline, diesel engine and automatic transmission.
